MIP-3

Started slowly with elements of FO left MIP panel (3D image above is my "source")

Click the image above and you'll download a huge 7MB 3D pdf file of the panel. It will take some time
but in the end there should come up a 3D object - I hope ;-)

Flap gauge

With no LCD on the back this gauge need to be accomplised in a different way. Everything needs to be "build" and when first started it looked a bit scary but after some drawings, things seems doable. The flap-gauge consist of two needles/pointers and I decided to make both and independed of each other. I know this is overkill but I couldn't "resist" - it became sort of a challenge....

Here is a 3D pdf file of the flap guage where it should be possible to rotate and break up the model.
You'll find some images in the gallery further down as well.

Mechincal the gauge is quite simple using two servos driving their separate pointer. USBServo board from OpenCockpits together with a standard Flap SIOC scripts is all there is.

Please email/contact me if you need advice.
