2D drawings will be in Corel (version 12) format, but I should be able to generate other formats if you wish.

Remember, these drawings are based on my own thinking and believing about 767-300 dimensions. Got some input form other builders and studying a lot of different photos - the further process is some heavy Corel work. You will certainly find numbers which differs from the real thing. None have any exact measurement as far as I know except those very few owing a real one or working as a 767 pilot (they exist in this community). If you do have exact numbers, please update me or the drawings and send back. This is also the case if you have other supplement or new features to the drawings.

In general the drawings are free to use for none commercial use.

MCP, VOR 1 & 2, GlareWings & MIP

Dec. 12. 2009

These are working documents - so use the drawings as a guide.

MIP

GLARE

Nov. 09: Split the "old" Front file in two:

File 1: MIP; As usual missing some details, but getting closer to a final drawing day by day.

File 2: GLARE; VOR and MCP inclusive housing and Glarewing.

Components

Same for this download. It's a "live" document".

This download contains some of those smaller pieces which I've been working on - like:

Korry (389, 433 & 434), Dzus, Mounting screw support and VS-wheel.

Schematics

I'm not sure if this is of interest, but here I will put some electronic schematics (pdf-format) - both my own and "copies" of Open Cockpit hardware.

If you need layout or DipTrace files - just ask!.

767 MCP schematic part 1

Here I will come with some changes. Found out that the Korry light and the backlight is run by the same Power source. So if dimming the backlight then you dim the Korry (white) label as well.

Open Cockpit DC Motor / Stepper / Light Control card.
Replaced the L293 with L298 (going from 4W to 25W pr. chip). Also grounded the Sense signal to give even more power (I don't understand why the Sense signal is not grounded on the OC standard card - I know it's kind of a current limiter output - in that case put in a 0,5ohm resistor down GND.

I will be using this card (DC Motor version) as controller for all lighting in the Cockpit and I think three unit will be sufficient (3 x 3 x 25W = 225W). That should be 18 different and separately controlled power sources to run misc. LED lights - all of course managed from SIOC. Each chip have four outputs, but only two possible to use for light control - the other two is inverted (meant to run motors bidirectional). I believe it will be approx. 64 level of light intensity.
Time will show where I ends up!!! Not tested anything yet.

Oct. 2009   Encoder II - Schematics.

Encoder-II

If you need to attach encoders other than the standard 1/4 cycle - this is what you need. With OC's standard microcode you'll able to "talk" to 1/1 cycle encoder. With a special microcode from a clever guy - Terry Adams, you are able to attach 1/2 cycle encoders. This last code is great!! and for my project essential because I have a lot of 1/2 cycle PC mice encoder laying around. These are very small (shown in the picture) and are easily placed inside the bezel/MIP without touching the monitor behind.

You will find a lot more information and the microcode at Terry's Homepage
Thanks again for your effort, Terry!!!
